Job Title: Sales Ledger & Credit Control Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
We’re seeking an experienced Sales Ledger & Credit Control Assistant to join our clients finance team in Milton Keynes. This is a hands-on accounts role, ideal for someone with a strong background in managing sales ledger processes and credit control within a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities:

o Raise and issue accurate sales invoices in line with client agreements
o Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger
o Monitor aged debt and carry out proactive credit control
o Handle client queries and resolve payment issues professionally
o Update financial records using Xero and Sage
o Support month-end reporting and account reconciliations
What We’re Looking For:

o Proven experience in a sales ledger and credit control role
o Working knowledge of Xero, Sage, and Microsoft Excel.
o Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
o Confident communicator with a professional approach to client interactions
o Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
