Job Overview
To support the coordination of the administration arrangements to provide a high quality supportive secretarial service to the consultant, medical and nursing team. The role requires independent work, accountability for organizing and prioritizing workload to ensure deadlines are met, and support the facilitation of patients along a defined pathway. Welsh language skills are desirable; however, Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
NOTE: This role is open only to staff currently employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
Main Duties
An accurate, confidential and supportive administration/secretarial service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Third Sector, CAIS) is required. Key responsibilities include: providing a safe and efficient patient pathway; delivering information and appropriate support to families and carers; and supporting the delivery of a comprehensive high‑quality medical secretarial and administrative service. The post holder must possess high‑level secretarial and audio‑typing skills, delivering service accurately and swiftly.
