Join Our Security Team at Frimley Park Hospital! Frimley Park Hospital, part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking dedicated Security Officers to join our busy team in Frimley. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the post.
Key Responsibilities
* Protect hospital buildings and staff, ensuring compliance and efficiency at all times.
* Assess risks and make informed decisions to support colleagues and visitors.
* Conduct patrols and monitor car parking, ensuring security is upheld.
* Manage access control systems and review and monitor CCTV as directed.
* Generate reports both electronically and in written form – good English language skills are essential.
* Uphold NHS values and deliver a high standard of service.

Qualifications
Essential:
* Educated to GCSE level 3 or above.
* Conflict resolution training.
* Restraint and breakaway training.
* Right to work in the UK.
Experience

* Attention to detail.
* Ability to solve problems and make key decisions under pressure.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a customer care profession.
* Previous experience in a security profession.
* Previous security-related experience.
* Report writing experience.
* Worked in an NHS hospital.
Skills & Knowledge
Essential:
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to de-escalate aggression and violent situations.
* Ability to cope under pressure and in a conflict situation.
* Work using own initiative.
* Use of CCTV.
* Good IT skills.
* Follow precisely and accurately verbal and written instructions.
* Be able to work unsupervised.
