We are excited to be advertising for a Band 5 Project Support Officer with a range of skills and experience to join us in Children and Family Health Devon on a fixed-term/secondment basis for 6 months. This role aligns with our service delivery strategy and involves providing project support to various service development projects and QI activities.
Main duties of the job
To work as part of a team to support the planning, monitoring, and tracking of project delivery within the CFHD portfolio of responsibility and update all relevant documentation.
Provide wide-ranging project support to the team, including project, meeting action notes, updating project plans, proactively circulating and chasing actions and information, and sending out communications.
Manage document systems on behalf of the teams and, where appropriate, set up new systems for managing documents and project processes.
Where appropriate and required, be involved in managing small projects or work streams within programmes or projects as directed by the Project Manager.
Coordinate and provide routine and ad hoc reports, either written or data analysis extracted from information systems as required.
Lead the planning and delivery of complex, efficient meeting schedules, ensuring key meetings have appropriate reports provided by project leads and/or members of the Directorate. Collate and circulate all project information in advance of each key meeting.
Coordinate and manage meetings as needed, including taking minutes and action notes, distributing minutes and papers, arranging schedules, booking venues, organizing presentations, and occasionally ordering catering and refreshments.
Requirement to travel across Devon to other sites; some work outside of standard hours may be required, e.g., event support.

Experience
* Working as a senior administrator, project coordinator, or support officer
* Producing complex electronic documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel
* Analyzing and interpreting data and information
Qualifications
* Educated to Degree Level or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Coordinating and managing widely attended events and workshops
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
* Knowledge of basic change management and service improvement, including project management tools and techniques
* Able to manage competing priorities supporting multiple individuals
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Presenting information clearly and concisely in various formats, including tabular and graphical data
* Producing accurate minutes and action notes of meetings
* Presenting to small groups effectively
