In connection with subsequent business expansion, Intellias is strengthening its capabilities in delivery leadership. We are looking for a seasoned executive to join us as VP Delivery in the Digital business segment (Head of Delivery Segment). This role strategically drives the operations of over 700 people, with a focus on scaling the business. The primary focus is shaping the delivery strategy for the areas of responsibility and contributing to the company's overall strategy. The objectives align with top-level company goals and the growth of the Delivery Segment.
The role involves working closely with the Leadership Team to shape delivery strategy, supervising a large engineering organization, performance and financial management, contributing to sales and presales, and account growth. The VP Delivery will report directly to the Chief Delivery Officer.
Responsibilities:
Lead Delivery Organization:
* Lead a team of directors to deliver high-quality services to clients.
* Develop and implement best practices and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
* Explore and adopt new technologies and tools to foster innovation and efficiency.
* Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within delivery teams.
Be a trusted partner for key clients and support business development:
* Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and develop tailored solutions.
* Maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure smooth project delivery and ongoing success.
* Participate in top-priority pre-sales activities, providing guidance and support to ensure sales success.
* Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute segment strategies.
Stay at the forefront of technological innovation:
* Identify and evaluate emerging technologies applicable to solutions and services.
* Develop and execute an innovation strategy aligned with business goals.
* Keep abreast of the latest trends in software engineering to ensure the team remains industry-leading.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering and Outsourcing within a large, well-established company (3000+ employees).
* Experience managing an engineering organization of 700+ people with proven results.
* Strong program and portfolio management skills, with Agile project management experience.
* Deep expertise in modern software engineering technologies, practices, and trends; experience as a solution architect is a plus.
* In-depth understanding of Digital business and its IT landscape and trends.
* Visionary mindset with entrepreneurial skills and leadership presence.
* Extensive experience in strategic planning and execution.
* Proactive, assertive, and goal-oriented attitude, willing to go the extra mile.
* Profound understanding of large IT outsourcing organizations, including governance, processes, organizational structure, and financial management.
* Strong business development knowledge, especially in sales and presales management.
* Financial management skills, including P&L management for large service organizations.
* MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related fields; additional business education like an MBA is advantageous.
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
