Location: Hillingdon Role: Media Studies Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and challenging Media Studies lessons across Key Stage 4 (and potentially KS5). Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of media language, representation, industries, and audiences within Media Studies. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Media Studies curriculum. Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Media Studies. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Media Studies. Degree in Media Studies, Film Studies, Communication Studies, or a related field. Proven experience teaching Media Studies at Key Stage 4 (experience at KS5 advantageous). Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of various media forms and industries within Media Studies. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire creativity and critical thinking in Media Studies. A passion for the media and its impact on society, and the ability to convey this to students in Media Studies .
