The Role… We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our Central London team at Soho House Manchester. he Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing and baking various goods, such as cakes, cookies, pies, and bread on our club menu. You’ll manage ingredient stocks, maintain equipment, guide and train staff, and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards. What we are looking for 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile kitchen Team player who communicates well with all colleagues Punctual, reliable and trustworthy Sense of urgency Yes, yes, yes mentality Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Have a genuine passion for food and beverage Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required Physical Requirements: Must be over the age of 18 Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required Expected working hours for a Pastry Chef: Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes Average hours 32-45 hours per week
