The Role As a Security Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a high-impact role where your leadership will drive strategic security decisions and foster a culture of safety and resilience. Day-to-day, you’ll be the Head of Security for our SATCOM Program, delivering high-level governance across physical, personal, technological, and information security. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including senior customers, to implement and manage security measures that mitigate risks and protect Babcock and customer assets. Proven leadership in defence or government security environments. Experience designing NPSA-compliant solutions using OR model and STaMP process. Practical understanding of GDPR compliance and data protection. In-depth knowledge of GovS007, JSP 440, JSP 628, JSP 490, and ISO 27001. Strong background in security risk management and mitigation techniques. This role is full time 37, hours per week requires and will require regular travel across a range of internal and customer sites on a weekly / monthly basis alongside home working arrangements. Essential Experience Of The Security Manager Mission Systems In-depth knowledge of GovS007, JSP 440, JSP 628, JSP 490, and ISO 27001. Practical understanding of GDPR compliance and data protection. Proven leadership in defence or government security environments. Strong background in security risk management and mitigation techniques. Experience designing NPSA-compliant solutions using OR model and STaMP process. Qualifications For The Security Manager Mission Systems Degree-level qualification or equivalent commercial experience in a related subject. Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
