Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in our Nursery & Preschool. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Early years, with specific experience in a nursery setting. As Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of the Nursery, ensuring high standards of care are maintained for our Children,. Your leadership skills will be essential in supervising staff and implementing effective practice.
Duties
* Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
* Supervise and support all staff, fostering a positive working environment that encourages professional development.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
* Maintain accurate records for children, manage and maintain staff performance, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Engage with families to promote satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback.
* Collaborate with external agencies and healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of care provided.
* Participate in staff training programmes to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary skills for effective practice.
* Participate in OFSTED visits as required.
* Experience
* Proven experience in a senior role in a nursery setting,
* Demonstrated experience in management or supervisory roles within a childcare environment.
* Familiarity with developing plans tailored to enhance children's individual needs.
* Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with staff, children and their families..

Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
