* Strengthen production governance, ensuring robust control of permits, risk assessments, SOPs and operational standards
* Improve plant performance through better planning, KPI ownership and cross functional collaboration with engineering and maintenance
* Develop workforce capability and succession strength, creating a more resilient and technically capable production function
What we are looking for
* Proven experience leading production or operations teams within a process manufacturing or COMAH regulated environment
* Strong understanding of process safety, operational risk and safe systems of work within hazardous operations
* Track record of delivering continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen or similar methodologies
* Experience managing supervisors or team leader level staff with responsibility for performance, development and culture
* Relevant health and safety qualification such as NEBOSH, with the ability to operate confidently in a highly regulated environment
What this is offering:
* A salary of £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience and qualifications
* 10% discretionary bonus
* 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
* Private Healthcare
* Development and further educational support
This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership position where production performance, safety culture and continuous improvement are all equally critical. You will have genuine autonomy to shape how the operation runs, backed by a technically strong and forward thinking environment focused on innovation and long term sustainability in fuels and energy
