Maintenance Engineer
North Oxfordshire
£37,000 - £44,000 per annum
Days initially, moving to rotating AM / PM shifts (no nights)
Our client is a well-established global manufacturing organisation operating across multiple international sites. They are a recognised leader within their sector and are looking to add a Maintenance Engineer to support their growing UK operation.
This role offers long-term stability, exposure to modern manufacturing equipment, and the opportunity to work within a safety-focused, high-volume production environment.
Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineer
1. Respond to day-to-day maintenance issues and machinery breakdowns
2. Fault find and repair production machinery, robotics and plant equipment
3. Plan and carry out preventative maintenance activities
4. Work closely with production teams to maximise equipment efficiency and uptime
5. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
6. Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when specialist support is required
7. Manage spare parts, consumables and maintenance stock levels
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime
