You’ll play a key role in delivering programmes that protect the environment, reduce flood risk, improve water supplies, and bring lasting value to communities. From early planning to detailed design and delivery, your work will span the full project lifecycle giving you exposure to technically diverse and impactful projects. Key duties Management and technical supervision of a team of modellers Implementation of industry standards and development of innovative solutions. Building and verifying network models Optioneering and solutions development of flooding and CSO drivers Use of network models for planning, operational and design purposes Management of model maintenance, Development Impact Assessments and Solutions delivery streams. Supervision of report writing, check and review of modelling outputs. Running modelling projects as the leader of a team Interacting and providing guidance to our overseas based teams Interacting directly with various personnel in our client’s organisations, including face to face progress meetings. Building and maintaining hydraulic models Investigation and resolution of network issues. Delivery of technical reports and hydraulic modelling studies Here's what you'll need Proficiency in wastewater modelling software such as InfoAsset Manager, and InfoWorks ICM, ArcGIS, MapInfo Demonstrable track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the water industry Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
