The Role
Leading a team of operational colleagues ensuring that all agreed objectives are met. Managing time and attendance, absence, H&S, production and compliance as well as KPI`s, Targets and SLA`s.
Delivering dept budgets through great manpower planning and performance management and reviewing.
Clearly communicating both verbally and written to conduct effective handovers for colleagues and be open to support business needs with overtime when required.
The business uses Six Sigma methodology throughout to ensure efficient and flexible work practices in order to be agile to meet customer needs.
The Person
You will have previous experience in managing a team, be responsible for budgets / cost analysis as well as making sure that the delivery of Health & Safety measures are maintained, ensuring a safe and clean work environment for all colleagues and visitors. You will also review and respond to direction to investigate trends in MI (Move In) as well as maintaining quality standards at all times.
You will be a champion of people engagement and be able to demonstrate your previous experience gained throughout your logistics management career and be a true advocate of an inclusive environment and have a full understanding of Six Sigma methodologies in logistics. Using this you will identify process improvements and ensure smooth operations to meet customer demands.
Making sure your teams are meeting KPI’s, achieving production and compliance targets and SLA’s is crucial for business growth.
With strong organisational skills you will be required to manage several departments outside of your main department.
You will be adaptable and creative with a passion for exceeding customer expectations through delivering an outstanding service experience.
