Are you a Primavera P6 Planner looking to work on some of the UK's most complex infrastructure programmes?
We're supporting the growth of an established Project Planning and Project Controls team delivering major projects across the water, energy, transport and infrastructure sectors. This is an opportunity to move beyond simply maintaining schedules and become involved in wider programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, risk management and integrated project controls.
You'll join a collaborative team working alongside Project Managers, Engineers and Project Controls professionals to help shape and deliver nationally significant programmes.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and analysing project programmes using Primavera P6 whilst supporting project teams through the full project lifecycle.
You will play a key role in ensuring programme certainty, identifying risks and opportunities, supporting project recovery strategies and providing meaningful planning insight to both internal and external stakeholders.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of infrastructure projects and provides a genuine pathway into wider Project Controls, Programme Management and Leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain and update integrated Primavera P6 programmes.
* Produce progress updates, programme reporting and planning analysis.
* Support critical path analysis and programme assurance activities.
* Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and delivery teams.
* Contribute to risk identification and programme mitigation strategies.
* Participate in planning workshops and stakeholder meetings.
* Support project controls activities including reporting and performance monitoring.
* Ensure programmes align with project objectives and client requirements.
What We're Looking For
* Experience using Primavera P6 within a project planning environment.
* Background in infrastructure, engineering, construction, utilities, transportation, energy, water or major projects.
* Understanding of project planning principles and programme management.
* Experience producing and maintaining project schedules.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary project teams.
Desirable Experience
* NEC3 or NEC4 contract experience.
* Project Controls exposure including risk, reporting or earned value.
* Consultancy or client-side project experience.
* Experience working on large-scale infrastructure programmes.
