Job Description
An environmental and safety consultancy is seeking a Health and Safety Consultant to visit clients and conduct inspections and risk assessments for a range of areas such as DSEAR, Fire, ATEX, Legionella and more. The Health and Safety Consultant will have attained relevant H&S qualifications, have strong experience in H&S management, have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, and good problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities
* Delivering a high-quality service which ensures that services meet our client\'s requirements and health and safety obligations.
* Visiting clients to introduce workloads and complete risk assessments for: legionella, fire risk, DSEAR, PUWER, welding exposure, noise, air sampling and exposure monitoring, ATEX equipment inspections.
* Developing action plans and discussing these with the client.
* Undertaking workplace inspections such as workshops, FLT, ladders, etc.
* Confident to undertake needs analysis and safety management system audits.
* Positively engaging with our client and developing, growing, and maintaining our relationship.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
* Essential:
* Attained NEBOSH / Tech IOSH
* Strong experience in health and safety management post Tech IOSH qualification
* Thorough understanding of health and safety legislation
* Excellent communication skills
* Good problem-solving, IT, negotiating, financial, and numeracy management skills
* Desirables:
* NEBOSH Diploma/CMIOSH
* Qualifications and experience in DSEAR and ATEX (COMPEX)
* Experience with Legionella, Fire Risk, PUWER, and welding exposure assessments
* Noise, Air Sampling and Exposure Monitoring
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 DOE
Benefits: Training, Mileage, Travel costs and Hotel and meal costs covered
