What You’ll Do Be the first point of contact for enquiries across conferences, meetings, group bookings, and weddings. Proactively drive business through corporate platforms such as CVENT and Venue Directory, and wedding platforms like Hitched and Bridebook. Understand client needs fully and create tailored proposals that exceed expectations. Deliver engaging show-rounds that highlight the hotel’s history, facilities, and stunning setting. Lead the planning and coordination of conferences and meetings, ensuring seamless organisation and cooperation with operational teams. Manage weddings and special occasions with the same professionalism and care, ensuring every detail is perfect. Craft meticulous event documentation (BEOs, contracts, function sheets) and ensure smooth weekly briefings with hotel departments. Maximise revenue potential through effective conversion, up-selling, and cross-selling. Collaborate with suppliers and colleagues to guarantee excellence in delivery. Follow up post-event to gather feedback, resolve issues with honesty, and encourage repeat and referral business. Maintain accurate systems — keeping booking details, client records, and revenue tracking up to date. What We’re Looking For Experience : Minimum 2 years in hotel events, groups, or weddings (Opera & Delphi knowledge a plus). Commercial acumen : Comfortable using platforms such as CVENT, Venue Directory, Hitched & Bridebook. Dynamic personality : Outgoing, confident, and able to engage with a wide range of clients and colleagues. Detail-driven : Organised, standards-focused, and meticulous in planning.
