The Role: The Emergency Duty Team is a Team of Well Being Advisors and Social Workers that work collaboratively with the Advanced Mental Health Practitioners (AMHP Hub) The Team is supported by an on-call senior manager rota The team operates from 5pm to 8am on weekdays and 24 hours during Bank Holidays and weekends. Wellbeing Advisor will be expected to work a shift pattern out of hours The Wellbeing Advisor is a great opportunity to be part of a team responsible for responding to Adult Social Care and AMHP calls, made outside office hours The Wellbeing Advisor will be familiar using system to record contacts where an intervention is necessary to safeguard an adult, where it is judged it would not be safe, appropriate, or lawful to delay that intervention until the next working day The Wellbeing Advisor will be expected to provide information, advice, and guidance to enable people, in person, on the telephone and by other mains of interactions, to self-assess and plan support to enable their wellbeing It is opportunity to provide first contact resolutions to people, through information, advice and guidance that is focused on identifying their strengths and how to maximise these strengths to meet their needs The successful candidate for the Wellbeing Advisor will be guided by social work and AMHP colleagues and escalate enquiries where appropriate to ensure positive outcomes are achieved.
