Location: London
Position Overview
Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for economic and financial analysis within the Deutsche Bank Group and covers asset allocation, investment recommendations and all major industry sectors. You will sit with the Bank’s highly regarded Foreign Exchange (FX) Research team, providing insights to institutional investors and corporates on FX trends that affect the business world and supporting the Bank’s client franchise via bottom‑up and top‑down analysis of FX markets, ongoing authoring and production of written research to promote investment views.

Your Key Responsibilities
 * Research and authorship of publications including trade ideas and thematic topics on Developed Market and Emerging Market currencies; opportunity to develop team coverage of emerging markets.
 * Develop FX models and monitors, including currency valuation.
 * Engage with and present to clients and internal stakeholders globally, willing to travel.
Your Skills and Experience
 * Degree‑level education (economics/finance) or equivalent qualification and/or experience.
 * Macro analysis background; preference for candidates with experience in currencies/emerging markets and producing research.
 * Strong analytical and written ability; willingness to research new topics.
 * Track record of idea origination and converting into commercial research for clients.
 * Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to market ideas to internal and external client base; knowledge of German beneficial.
