About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Sales Person to join our prestigious Wigan Club and be part of a brilliant team. This key role involves representing the Fitness First Brand, requiring a highly motivated sales individual with excellent leadership skills, capable of achieving all in-club related sales. Our team is vital to our success, guided by our ‘Winning Ways’: Win Together, Aim Higher, Own It, We Care, and Love What We Do.
We focus on what sets us apart as a brand and ensure our team has the expertise to celebrate our fitness products and deliver an excellent member experience. Our members are at the heart of everything we do.
You will...
1. Act as a positive example for all club staff, embodying operational excellence.
2. Assist in the 'guest experience journey' by touring booked appointments and walk-ins, converting them into members, and capturing accurate data for all prospects.
3. Promote excellent FFX performance and other signature Fitness First products.
4. Collaborate with support functions to achieve the club's sales targets.
5. Coordinate outreach activities to promote the club and identify improvement areas.
6. Stay updated on membership fees and promotions, conveying this to members.
7. Maintain high sales integrity, ensuring prospects and members are well-informed about terms, conditions, and offers.
8. Build and maintain corporate relationships through events and quality engagement.
9. Retain existing members by providing exceptional experiences.
10. Address feedback following Fitness First's complaints policy.
11. Support team members and engage positively with members on the gym floor.
12. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and complete relevant checks.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned by the general manager.
Have you...
1. Contributed to meeting club revenue goals through sales targets.
2. Experience in sales or service in a similar environment is desirable.
3. Proficiency in face-to-face and phone sales.
4. Basic knowledge of the fitness industry is beneficial.
5. Exceptional guest service skills.
6. Flexibility to adapt to business needs, including shift coverage.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to meet targets and deadlines.
9. Proactive and self-motivated approach.
