At Avery Healthcare, we are committed to supporting the people who care for our residents. We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Residential Care Manager at Beaconsfield Heights Care Home in Beaconsfield.
About the role
Your focus as a Residential Care Manager will be to manage the group of Care Supervisors within the home, ensuring that a high‑quality delivery of personal care is delivered to our residents. You will act as an advocate for all residents, maintaining the best interests in all areas of their wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate resident assessment processes, ensuring the planned care is accurate and reflected in each individual care plan.
* Support, guide and develop team members.
* Manage the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer's instructions and is cleaned and stored appropriately after use.
* Ensure compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures.
* Undertake quality care spot checks and report on the quality of care provided by Care Supervisors, Carers and Senior Carers within the team.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent.
* A minimum of two years' experience in long‑term care or a similar industry.
* Experience in leading a team in a similar care environment.
* Comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.
Additional requirements
* ADBS Disclosure check – the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
