Machining Operator — Competitive + Benefits — Blackburn — 4-day week Monday to Thursday. gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Machining Operator to work at their facility based near Darwen.
Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Perform routine maintenance and quality checks
* Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues
* Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
* Ensure all health, safety and environmental requirements and maintained and followed
Person Specification
* ?Proven experience operating HAAS, Matsuura, and Doosan CNC Lathe machines.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* ?Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good understanding of machining processes and tooling.
* Flexible and proactive approach to work.
