Recovery Workers - Substance Misuse (Ref:0067ZD)

The successful candidates will be working as part of our Clinical team. Our Recovery Workers work with our service users to help them determine their goals, ambitions and passions, and to create the best treatment plan for their needs and guide them on their path to recovery.


Main duties of the job

This is an integral role for With You — as a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions and key work responsibilities. You will manage an active caseload of service users, connecting quickly with the people we support, treating them with respect and dignity.

Job responsibilities

Join us as a Recovery Worker (Clinical Team) in Bournemouth.

Our team in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are recruiting for Recovery Workers, to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. If you are an enthusiastic and creative individual and are passionate about changing people\'s lives for the better, we\'d love to hear from you.

As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year.

The closing date for applications is the 15th September 2025. This advert may close early should sufficient applications be received.

These positions are full time and permanent. The hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend work as required. The salary is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Qualifications

* Driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this position.


Experience

* You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships.
* We\'re looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, ideally with those with substance misuse issues.
* You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high quality service is maintained.
* Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our service users and key stakeholders.
