Compensation: £35,055 – £41,663 per year
Key Responsibilities
* Effectively manage the delivery, coordination and development of a portfolio of courses that enable learners to succeed and progress.
* Ensure that Key Performance Indicators of attendance, achievement, retention, assessment and progress tracking are monitored and actions taken to address issues.
* Manage the marketing of provision and IAG for students within the subject area, ensuring that learners are effectively recruited to courses that best meet their ability and aspirations.
* Lead, motivate and develop a curriculum that delivers outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
* Ensure that Quality Assurance and improvement mechanisms are effectively implemented, robustly monitored and result in high academic standards and student outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
* Educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Teaching qualification, level 5 minimum.
* GCSE English and mathematics, minimum grade 4 or above or equivalent qualification.
* Effective and current knowledge of awarding organisation practices in relevant subject(s).
* Understanding of the skills agenda and local priorities.
* Thorough understanding of effective teaching practices.
