Job Title: Business Change Manager - Change and Transformation

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Change Manager to lead and drive transformational initiatives across our organisation. This role is pivotal in delivering strategic change programmes that enhance operational performance, embed new ways of working, and ensure sustainable benefits realisation. The ideal candidate will combine deep change management expertise with a proven track record of cultural, operational, and digital transformations across highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Management
* Partner with C-suite executives and senior leaders to define and execute the organisation’s change strategy and vision.
* Lead organisational redesign initiatives, workforce optimisation, and capability uplift programmes.
* Provide executive coaching and support to senior leaders on change readiness, adoption, and delivery.
* Mobilise and govern large portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
Change & Transformation Delivery
* Lead complex, multi-stream transformation programmes, including digital, operational, cultural, and technology initiatives.
* Ensure benefits realisation, P&L alignment, ROI assessment, and performance measurement using KPIs, OKRs, and Lean principles.
* Develop and implement change management frameworks, standards, and processes, ensuring consistency across all programmes.
* Establish Centres of Excellence, PMOs, and Change Service Provisions to embed best practices and delivery excellence.
Capability & Team Development
* Lead, coach, and develop internal and matrix teams of up to 150 FTEs.
* Build internal change capabilities through structured training, knowledge hubs, and community of practice initiatives.
* Embed a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainable change across the organisation.
Programme & Project Governance
* Ensure governance structures, reporting, and assurance mechanisms are in place for portfolio oversight.
* Partner with risk, compliance, and quality functions to meet regulatory standards (e.g., Ofgem, ISO, BSI, QMS).
* Oversee project performance, financial controls, and adherence to organisational standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience (8+ years) delivering transformational change across energy, utilities, facilities management, or engineering sectors.
* Extensive experience in executive stakeholder management, cultural change, organisational redesign, and benefits realisation.
* Strong understanding of regulated environments, standards, and frameworks (MSP, CDM, Agile, Lean, Prosci/ADKAR).
* Demonstrable experience in establishing PMOs, Centres of Excellence, and professional services practices.
* Experience with digital and technology-enabled transformations, including Salesforce, Workday, HCM/ERP, AI, and cloud platforms.
