We're working with a crypto-native DeFi trading platform, backed by a leading digital assets firm (client name kept confidential), to hire a Senior Backend Developer. The team is building high-performance, decentralized trading infrastructure with a strong focus on execution quality and user experience.
This is a hands-on role covering backend engineering, smart contract integration, and trading-adjacent systems, working closely with experienced engineers, product, and UX in a fast-moving, production-focused environment.
What you'll be doing
* Building and maintaining backend services and public APIs in Rust and Python
* Working directly with EVM smart contracts at an application level
* Contributing to the evolution of a performance-critical DeFi trading platform
What we're looking for
* Strong experience with Rust and Python
* 3–4+ years in crypto / DeFi-native roles
* Practical experience interacting with Solidity smart contracts (not just high-level)
* Understanding of DEXs and trading concepts (hands-on or theoretical)
* Comfortable operating production systems in a cloud environment
