We're working with a significant UK based Insurance Group who are growing their Large Corporate Underwriting team in the Midlands. This is a great chance to work on complex, high-value cases that really matter.
This business manages large corporate accounts (over £100k premium), contributing to a portfolio exceeding £200m GWP. This is a role where your decisions shape outcomes, influence strategy and directly impact major UK businesses.
The Role
* Own and manage your own portfolio
* Assess complex property risks and negotiate terms
* Work closely with brokers, agents, and clients
* Play a key role in delivering fair outcomes and exceptional service
* Support client meetings and help strengthen long-term relationships
* Work in a collaborative, down-to-earth team where your voice is heard

* Regular in-person collaboration to stay connected and energised
The Candidate
* Experience underwriting commercial property risks in the UK market
* Background from insurer or broker environment
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* A commercial mindset with the confidence to influence decisions
* A collaborative, forward-thinking approach
* CII qualifications are welcomed - but not essential. Support is provided if you want to work towards them.
The Reward
* Salary £45,000 based on experience
