Responsibilities
* Engage with the public at pre-organised venues (e.g., shopping centres, doctor’s surgeries and other locations) to raise awareness and donations for Marie Curie.
* Encourage direct debit regular donations on the lottery campaign where appropriate.
* Represent Marie Curie in a professional, empathetic and positive manner to potential donors.
Requirements & Qualifications
* No fundraising experience required. If you have customer service or sales experience and are passionate about conveying Marie Curie’s message, you have transferable skills for this role.
* Driving Licence required.
* At least 3 shifts per week (12–16 hours total); commuting time paid; own car may be required for travel between sites.
Compensation & Benefits
* £13.00–£14.00 per hour; guaranteed weekly pay.
* Hourly rate for commuting distance plus 45p per mile (own car essential).
* Full extensive training provided with excellent support.
* Flexible hours and paid travel time, with parking expenses covered.
* Real Living Wage; weekly pay.
