Join Our Travel Claims Team as a Team Leader
At IMG, we are excited to announce an opening for a Team Leader in our Travel Claims Team. This role offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid working, with a 37.5-hour workweek from Monday to Friday. The salary ranges from £29,000 to £32,000, depending on experience.
The Travel Claims Team Leader oversees our team of remote and office-based Travel Claims Handlers, working alongside our 24-hour emergency assistance teams. Your responsibilities include assessing reimbursement claims, planning, managing, prioritizing workloads, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop the team to deliver high-quality claims service, monitoring performance and providing coaching.
2. Support the team daily with claim handling and technical guidance.
3. Conduct regular performance reviews and maintain a motivated work environment.
4. Manage workloads and resources to meet service standards.
5. Review work performance against KPIs and SLAs.
6. Oversee decline referrals, high-value claims, and legal expenses claims.
7. Escalate unresolved issues and ensure departmental standards are maintained.
8. Promote effective communication within the department and across the business.
Candidate Requirements:
* 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (required)
* Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to work independently or in a team
* Travel insurance experience (preferred)
* Attention to detail, good listening skills, and ability to follow complex instructions
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude
* Experience in insurance or compliance (advantageous)
* Ability to develop performance metrics and inspire team success
