Job title: Lead Product Configuration & Change

Salary: Up to £51,645 (dependent on skills and experience)
Responsibilities
* Provide governance and assurance for Configuration Management through documented processes.
* Define measures to evaluate the effectiveness of Configuration Management capabilities.
* Collaborate with Canadian and BAE Systems stakeholders to support design development and control.
* Develop and coach programme teams in Configuration Management processes.
* Train and implement Configuration Management capabilities effectively and efficiently.
* Work closely with colleagues in Product Change Management.
Required Skills and Experience
* HNC/HND in engineering, technology, or science.
* Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) / Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as TeamCenter or Windchill.
* Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience in a comparable industry.
* Familiarity with product baselines.
* Understanding of the end-to-end engineering lifecycle and Configuration Management lifecycle.
Engineers at all levels should possess relevant academic qualifications in Engineering or related STEM subjects and be recognized as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through a professional institution. Support for achieving relevant accreditation will be provided. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.

The Product Configuration & Change Team
This role is part of the Canadian River Class Destroyer Programme, working closely with various internal and external stakeholders. You will help define, document, and implement processes to control the RCD design, liaising with Canadian enterprise configuration teams and internal BAE engineering teams to ensure process adherence and improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
There may be opportunities for international travel and professional development, including support for Chartership status.
