The Role: Business Development Coordinator
We are looking for a confident and proactive Business Development Coordinator to join a varied and dynamic role at the centre of our sales and account management activity. This is a pivotal role, where you will act as the central point between our field-based sales representatives and our valued national trade accounts.
You will draw on strong communication skills, excellent organisational ability, and a high standard of customer service to build and maintain relationships with customers. Day to day, this will include a blend of phone and email communication, occasional site visits to key accounts, travelling and helping at our regional trade shows and the management of essential administration to ensure a seamless and professional service.
Alongside these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to get involved in creative tasks, such as producing promotional flyers and contributing ideas for our showroom layout. This role is ideally suited to someone looking to develop a career in sales, account management, or business development within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as a primary point of contact for existing national accounts, building strong, long-term relationships.
· Work collaboratively with our national team of Sales Representatives to support their field-based activities and ensure client success.
· Manage the essential administration for accounts, including processing orders on mSeller and maintaining customer records using Microsoft Business Central.
· Conduct occasional site visits to customers to strengthen relationships and better understand their tailored requirements.
· Create simple, effective promotional flyers and photo quotes to support sales campaigns, using Canva and Adobe.
· Contribute ideas and assist with the presentation and layout of the showroom.
The Ideal Candidate
· Confident communicator, skilled in face-to-face, telephone, and email communication, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
· Ambitious and motivated to grow within a role that combines sales, account management and customer service.
· Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities.
· Adaptable and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Creative and resourceful, with the ability to contribute ideas for promotional ideas and the presentation of the showroom.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident in learning new systems.
· A collaborative team player who takes initiative, supports colleagues and contributes to shared goals.
· Full UK driving license and willingness to travel occasionally for customer site visits and trade shows.

· 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. Some days do have to be kept back for the Christmas shutdown period. (which is normally 2 week shutdown)
