<h3>Overview</h3><p>Role: <b>Speech & Language Therapist - Bank</b>.</p><p>Location: <b>The Harborne Hospital (Birmingham)</b>, part of <b>HCA Healthcare UK</b>.</p><p>Contract type: <b>Bank</b>.</p><p>Pay: <b>£26.51ph – £35.35 ph</b>, dependent upon shift and role type.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide speech and language therapy assessment and intervention for a diverse patient caseload, including individuals with craniotomies, prolonged intubation, tracheostomy, and cervical spine surgeries.</li><li>Collaborate with the Therapies department and wider multidisciplinary teams (Physio, Dietitians, OT, SLT) with bank colleagues for patient care.</li><li>Upskill in instrumental assessments (FEES and VFSS); clinical supervision available from the wider HCA team of SLTs.</li><li>Work within the bank model offering first refusal on shifts ahead of agencies across the network of leading private hospitals.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship supplied for Bank roles).</li><li>HCPC Registration.</li><li>SALT degree qualification or equivalent.</li><li>Experience working in a hospital setting.</li></ul><h3>Culture and values</h3><p>HCA UK is proud of its team culture and commitment to exceptional patient care.
