This is your opportunity to take on a pivotal leadership role within our Acute Occupational Therapy service – shaping the way we support patients across Acute, A&E, and Ambulatory Care, and ensuring we deliver life-changing outcomes every single day.
As Clinical Lead, you’ll combine your advanced clinical expertise with strategic leadership, managing a highly skilled team while also carrying your own complex caseload. You’ll influence service delivery, lead on innovation and research, and directly contribute to reducing hospital stays, preventing readmissions, and improving patient independence and quality of life.

Some of the key duties include:
* Managing a highly complex clinical caseload alongside fulfilling managerial responsibilities
* Sharing specialist knowledge to support and enhance the skills and confidence of therapists within the service
* Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff through effective supervision and appraisal
* Offering expertise in manual handling, equipment prescription, positioning, and seating – delivering advice, training, and support to staff, professionals, and service users alike
* Leading clinical audits and contributing to research to drive continual improvement
Qualifications
* Degree in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC registered & Eligible for College of Occupational Therapy membership
* Master’s or equivalent specialist knowledge/application in current best practice in Occupational Therapy including: Complex equipment prescription & adaptation, risk assessment & stabilisation, task analysis
