Referrals Manager – Bright Life Living
Are you ready to be the driving force behind life-changing placements for children and young people?
At Bright Life Living, we don't just provide care – we create transformative environments where children and young people can thrive. We're now looking for an energetic, strategic, and relationship-driven Referrals Manager to join our passionate team.
If you love building meaningful partnerships, making a difference, and working in a fast-paced and impactful role — this is your opportunity to be at the heart of positive change.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead our referrals, admissions, and recruitment strategy – ensuring our homes maintain 100% occupancy while delivering the highest possible standards of care.
This is more than just a coordination role. You'll be the face of Bright Life Living to Local Authorities across the UK, guiding families and professionals through the admissions process, and helping shape the future of our organisation as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for all Local Authority referrals and admission enquiries
* Manage the entire referral pipeline from enquiry to placement
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, commissioners, and key decision-makers
* Visit services to stay aligned with current provision and articulate offerings to stakeholders
* Support strategic growth plans by increasing referral streams and diversifying LA engagement
* Work alongside leadership and finance teams to negotiate placement fees and support tenders
* Partner with marketing to promote Bright Life Living and represent us at events and networking opportunities
* Champion safeguarding, compliance, and best practice at every stage of the process
What You'll Bring
* Experience working in a care or education setting, ideally with exposure to LA referrals
* A natural relationship-builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A strategic mindset – someone who understands both people and process
* Confidence in managing multiple priorities and deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Full UK driving licence – travel between sites and LA offices is essential
Why Join Bright Life Living?
* Be part of a forward-thinking organisation with big ambitions and a commitment to excellence
* Help shape the lives of children and young people by ensuring they are placed in the right homes with the right support
* Work in a culture that values integrity, empathy, and impact
* Opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression
* Work alongside a dedicated team who genuinely care about what they do
Additional Requirements
* Must successfully pass an enhanced DBS check
* Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding and professional integrity
