Please note this is a Secondment / Fixed term role until 31 March 2028. We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated professional to work across both councils, supporting our response to Local Government Reorganisation (LGR). You will:
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and contribute to the delivery of the LGR Programme.
- Act as project manager for LGR projects.
- Act as a key point of contact for the council, facilitating co-ordination of LGR activities and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of national policy and best practice relating to LGR.
Qualifications
- A strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, research and engagement.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Politically astute and confident working in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in project management, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Degree-qualified or equivalent experience, with a commitment to continuous learning.
