We’re looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a large civil engineering project local to the Bristol area. This is a site-based role, working closely with the project team to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained across all operations.

YOUR NEW ROLE
Act as the point of contact for all health & safety matters on site
Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks and safety inductions
Monitor compliance with RAMS, method statements and site safety rules
Carry out regular site inspections, keeping accurate records and reports
Engage with the workforce to promote a safe culture and encourage reporting of near-misses
Support incident investigations and help develop corrective actions
Work proactively with subcontractors and client representatives to maintain high standards
ABOUT YOU
Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor in construction or civil engineering
Solid knowledge of UK H&S legislation (LOLER, PUWER, Working at Height, Confined Space Regs, etc)
NEBOSH Construction qualification is essential
Strong communicator who can influence everyone from site operatives to directors
Flexible to work day or night shifts as required
Organised, detail-driven and able to keep accurate records under pressure
SALARY AND BENEFITS
£50,000 - £58,000 - depending on experience
31 days annual leave (inc BH)
