Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Hockey Coach with a passion for the sport to join our experienced PE department at Norwich High School.
You will work with our Under 12 and Under 13 teams during one Games afternoon per week throughout the hockey season (September to December), delivering high-quality training sessions. Occasionally, you will accompany teams to matches and assist with umpiring.
This is a part-time, casual position. Sessions are on Wednesdays from 1:40pm to 3:40pm during term time. There may be opportunities to coach netball in the Spring term (January to March) for suitable candidates.
Ideal candidates will have excellent hockey knowledge and relevant coaching experience, preferably with a Level 1 Hockey Coaching qualification or working towards it. The ability to motivate pupils of all abilities and collaborate with colleagues is essential. Driving a school minibus is advantageous.
