Introduction
Indaver leads the field in sustainable waste management in Europe. We deliver high-quality, cost-effective services in the municipal, industrial, and specialist hazardous waste markets. Our operations span Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Portugal, the UK, and Ireland.
In Essex, Indaver is constructing a facility that will process approximately [amount] tonnes of residual waste per annum and generate electricity for around 60,000 homes. We are hiring 65 specialists to operate and maintain this large-scale plant.
We now require a Management Accountant to handle Monthly Reporting, Annual Budgets, and Quarterly Outlooks for the Rivenhall plant. The role involves developing financial models and business plans to support business growth, along with ad hoc financial reporting as needed.
Role and Responsibilities
* Prepare Monthly Management Accounts for Rivenhall
* Develop Annual Budgets and Quarterly Outlooks
* Conduct accounting processes in existing systems and SAP/SAP4Hana
* Update procedures to align with SAP/SAP4Hana systems
* Analyze financial results in detail
* Perform weekly and monthly settlements and reconciliations
* Support Business Development by preparing financial models for new projects
* Engage proactively with the Business Development team to ensure data accuracy
Qualifications and Experience
* Graduate degree from a recognized university or college
* Minimum IATI and/or CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualification
* Part-qualified CIMA / ACCA with extensive experience (5+ years)
* 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in a business or commercial environment, preferably with a multinational
* Experience with monthly closing processes and reporting
* Strong analytical review skills
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
* Experience with SAP/SAP4Hana is advantageous
* UK driving license and own transport (due to location)
* Must be eligible to work full-time in the UK; no visa sponsorship available
