Overview
Barts Health NHS Trust is one of the UK’s top teaching hospitals located in the rapidly growing North East of London. We are currently seeking a motivated Trust Grade Doctor to work in our ENT Department for a 12‑month fixed term. The ENT service provides a comprehensive range of emergency and elective services to the local community and acts as a referral centre for more complex procedures and tertiary referrals. Our advanced facilities include head and neck surgery, facial plastics, rhinology, voice clinics, paediatric airway, and otology, and we have excellent links with Audiology, Speech and Language therapy, and Oncology.
Responsibilities
* Review patients on wards, attending theatre, and supporting accident and emergency.
* Support outpatient clinics and pre‑admission clinics.
* Contribute to teaching, audit, and research.
Qualifications
Applicants must have full GMC registration with a license to practice.
Working Hours and Leave
The rota is 1.8 weeks with prospective internal cover for annual leave and study leave. The rota complies with the European Working Time Directive.

Location
The current base for the Department of Otolaryngology is at The Royal London Hospital, with Head and Neck Cancer surgery performed at UCLH.
