Registered Veterinary Nurse – Firstvets, Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne / No OOH / Salary up to £30k FTE DOE + Benefits
A new opportunity has arisen for an RVN to join our Firstvets Team situated in Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. We are a busy small animal practice with a varied caseload. The practice is well equipped including cardiac ultrasound, digital radiography, separate dental theatre, fully equipped main theatre and orthopaedic kit. We are a VN training practice with proven record of accomplishment of developing colleagues (In house Clinical Coach and Teacher that can guide you through your journey) and will fully support you in whatever discipline you choose and Schedule 3 is actively encouraged.

This is a Full Time position of 40 hours per week worked over 4 or 5 days including 1 in 5 Saturday days and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
Our Nurses are involved in every aspect of the practice, including:
2. Conducting extensive nurse consults
3. Assisting the vets in their consults and theatre
4. Managing stock
5. Training future RVN's
6. Completing Schedule 3 procedures (in-house and external training can be provided)
7. Performing many lab tests including ear and urine cytology
8. Heavy involvement in all dental procedures
