We're seeking a Service Advisor to join our team at Volkswagen. This permanent role involves a 42-hour work week, including Saturday mornings on a rota, with a competitive starting salary of £26,000 plus an uncapped bonus. You will join a friendly and efficient Aftersales team led by a talented Service Manager. We ensure you feel part of the team from day one, supporting your skills and knowledge development through ongoing training and one-to-one coaching.
Our Service Advisors are crucial in delivering a personalized, premium experience to our customers, encouraging repeat business for servicing, MOT, and repairs. They must demonstrate knowledge and expertise, providing customers with all the necessary information to make informed decisions about their vehicle's servicing. We support this with customer experience workshops and development opportunities.
1. Book MOTs, services, and repairs for customers
2. Advise customers on warranty cover and upsell parts/accessories beneficial to them
3. Coordinate with the Aftersales team to organize appointments based on workload and call volumes
4. Handle a high volume of customer interactions daily, including calls and online bookings
5. Communicate turnaround times effectively and keep customers informed during service
6. Maintain accurate customer records and update systems accordingly
We seek energetic, personable individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport are essential, along with the ability to explain technical details clearly. Experience with Kerridge/ADP is advantageous.
Applicants should be capable of maintaining precise customer records, a team player yet independent when needed. Experience in a similar automotive role or a passion for cars and customer service is preferred.
