Job overview An exciting opportunity for a fixed-term Trust Doctor post supporting the Older Persons Unit through winter has arisen. This post is for an ST1-2 trust doctor in Geriatric Medicine depending on previous experience. The post is for a period of 5 months. Advert You will work to support OPU outliers within the RUH along with our team of geriatric consultants and therapists. Depending on the situation with the COVID pandemic you may be responsible for patients with COVID or a cohort of COVID contacts. You will be responsible for the regular review and management of the inpatients on your wards or caseload under the supervision of the geriatricians. The post involves working standard days Monday to Friday. Working hours will be 40 across the week working between 08:00 to 18:00. You will be part of the multidisciplinary team arranging ongoing rehabilitation and discharge. You will be expected to have very good communication skills and communicate regularly with the MDT, patients and their relatives.
