Are you a Maintenance Fitter looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation? At Tarmac, we are on the lookout for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Maltby.
What you'll be doing
1. Day-to-day maintenance activities including planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
2. Meeting statutory and SHE standards as a minimum.
3. Working on a variety of plant throughout the block manufacturing site as directed on a planned or reactive basis.
4. Recording all work on the site CMMS system.
This is a dynamic role, mostly self-motivated and self-supervised with good communication skills.
Please note: this role operates on a rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm. Any prospective candidates must be willing to work these shifts.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
* IOSH training (advantageous).
* Maintaining/replacement of mechanical parts including bearings, shafts, rollers.
* Skilled with hand tools, bearing presses, and fitting tools.
* Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
* Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment.
* Welding and/or pipefitting (advantageous).
