This welcoming and inclusive SEMH school, located in a quiet area of North Manchester, is part of a well-regarded multi-academy trust. It supports pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4 who require a nurturing, structured environment to thrive. The school is known for its trauma-informed approach, strong staff-pupil relationships, and commitment to emotional wellbeing and personal development. With a focus on relational practice and restorative approaches, the school provides a calm and supportive setting where every young person is encouraged to reach their full potential -academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You'll Need to Succeed

* Experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs

* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through Hays
* Qualifications such as Team Teach, MAPA, or a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification are advantageous but not essential.

What You'll Get in Return

* Competitive daily rate (£85-£100 per day, depending on experience)
* Full support from a dedicated Hays consultant
* Access to free CPD training including behaviour management and safeguarding
* Opportunity to work in a rewarding and supportive environment
* Potential for a permanent contract
* £250 refer-a-friend bonus scheme (T&Cs apply)
