?? Your New Role: Field Care Supervisor (FCS)
As a Field Care Supervisor, you’ll be the vital link between our care teams, clients, and management—ensuring exceptional, person-centred care is delivered in the community. You’ll lead with compassion, uphold compliance standards, and champion best practices across the service.
?? What You’ll Be Doing:
?? Client Care & Quality Assurance
Conduct initial assessments and regular care plan reviews
Perform spot checks, audits, and quality monitoring visits
Ensure care packages meet individual needs and preferences
Respond to concerns and escalate when needed
Attend multi-agency meetings and support clients with health appointments
Keep care records up to date using Birdie
?? Staff Supervision & Support
Mentor and supervise care workers in the field
Lead staff introductions, shadowing, and competency checks
Identify training needs and support development
Promote safe practices and specialist skills
Encourage effective use of care management systems
?? Operational Duties
Assist with rota planning and emergency cover
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance
Liaise with managers to ensure continuity of care
Promote service improvements and safe working practices
?? Communication & Coordination
Act as a key liaison between clients, staff, and management
Report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and changes in client needs
Collaborate with external professionals and agencies
�? What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in care, recruitment, admin, or quality assurance
Strong understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and CQC standards
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Confident working independently and using IT systems (Excel, Word, care platforms)
Willingness to travel – Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
Self-motivated and passionate about promoting quality care
Desirable:
Level 2/3 Health & Social Care qualification
First Aid, Moving & Handling, Medication training (or willingness to complete)
