Contracts Manager
Salary: £52,247 per annum
Hours: 37 per week, Monday–Friday
Location: Norfolk / Hybrid
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading housing provider for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the procurement, negotiation, delivery, and performance of key contracts across property repairs, maintenance, and improvement works.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in contract management within social housing or property services, who can lead a team, ensure compliance, and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
The role:

Oversee all aspects of contract negotiation, execution, monitoring, and performance management

Lead the Contracts Team and manage the work of contractors and service providers within a contract management framework
*
Develop, implement, and improve contract management systems and strategies
*
Ensure contracts are procured in line with legislation (PCR2015/PA23) and organisational requirements
*
Monitor and report on contract KPIs, budgets, and financial performance
*
Lead on contract disputes, risk mitigation, and resolution strategies
*
Ensure health & safety compliance, including producing H&S plans under CDM regulations
*
Deliver continuous improvement, cost-effective solutions, and strong supplier relationships
*
Manage social value delivery commitments in contracts
You will need:
*
Significant experience in contract management within social housing, construction, or property services
*
Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and teams to high performance standards
*
Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations and contract law
*
Excellent negotiation, project management, and financial management skills
*
Experience of CDM regulations and contractor health & safety management
*
Degree in business, contract management, or relevant technical discipline (RICS/CIOB preferred)
*
Full UK driving licence with business use insurance
