Recruitment & Learning and Development Coordinator- HYBRID
Location: Hull (HU3), Hybrid – Working 2 days per week in office.
Contract: 6 Month FTC.
Working hours: 35 hours per week, between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
Salary: £26k-£27k per annum depending on experience.
Role Purpose
To provide a responsive and customer focused Recruitment/L&D service, through timely, efficient and effective administration and reporting.
Support the Head of Learning and Development in the delivery of L&D priorities, providing a complete end‑to‑end administrative delivery of the L&D function to our internal customers.
Support the Recruitment Specialist in the day‑to‑day recruitment activity at rradar and assist in the delivery of a seamless onboarding solution for new starters.
Administrative support with specific employee engagement focused tasks.
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for L&D queries.
* Oversee the learning and development inbox to ensure staff enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.
* Monitor training activity on the LMS, including recording/tracking attendance, managing wait lists, updating content and ensuring learning evaluations are completed and analysed.
* Manage the L&D calendar, diarise sessions and manage invites.
* Support the Head of Learning and Development in coordinating all L&D activity, including course logistics, joining instructions, venue selection, organising cohorts, arranging resources, post‑course evaluation, and liaising with delivery team and external providers.
* Produce monthly and ad‑hoc reports to monitor the business impact of learning and development interventions/initiatives and the quality of the learning.
* Administer and monitor mandatory training requirements and compliance to accreditations.
* Manage external training requests, including PSC bookings, liaising with third‑party training providers to book courses, checking and recording attendance, and processing invoices.
* Co‑ordinate, schedule and support the delivery of induction training for all new starters.
* Suggest and initiate new systems and templates to improve administrative processes.
* Monitor the recruitment inbox, responding or escalating as required.
* Liaise with Hiring Managers and candidates to ensure interview bookings are conducted seamlessly.
* Monitor the HR Activity log and candidate check lists, ensuring task completion, receipt of documents, and successful onboarding.
* Complete and submit New User forms to notify IT and facilities when offers are accepted.
* Submit and monitor Pre‑Employment Screening for successful candidates.
* Ensure that the Day 1 Right to Work verification process is followed.
* Proactively manage relationships with university careers teams/contacts to promote rradar as an employer.
* Maintain the recruitment calendar of events, career fairs, and presentations.
* Act as a rradar ambassador, attending careers fairs and recruitment events.
* Support the administration and coordination of the employee recognition scheme and long‑service awards.
Skills & Experience
* Effective organising, prioritising and time management skills.

* Ability to work independently and under own initiative.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* A good understanding of IT systems and high computer literacy.
* Ability to work responsibly and with integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive information as part of an HR team.
