We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Campsie. This is a temporary to permanent position, with an initial 16-week temporary period and the opportunity to secure a permanent role thereafter.Pay Rate: £16.00 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:00pmKey Responsibilities:Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for the transportation of goods to and from designated locationsEnsure all deliveries and collections are completed on time and in line with company schedulesCarry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company proceduresSecure loads safely and ensure compliance with all transport and safety regulationsMaintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and recordsCommunicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customersAdhere to all tachograph and driver hours regulationsSupport loading and unloading where requiredWhat We Need From YouValid Class 1 (C+E) driving licenceValid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph CardPrevious HGV driving experience, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environmentGood knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulationsStrong reliability and time management skillsFlexibility to support operational needs when requiredWhat We Will Offer YouWeekly payA minimum of 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)Pension SchemeOpportunity to secure a permanent position after 16 weeksWHJS1_NI
