Site Supervisor – Teesside (Static Site)

Johnson Controls is looking for a Site Supervisor to join our dedicated team at a key static site in Teesside. About the Role
As a Site Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of on-site engineers and subcontractors, ensuring the effective delivery of mechanical fire suppression services across the site. You’ll oversee preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and remedial works on a range of fire detection and gas suppression systems, including:
* Conventional and addressable fire detection systems
* Networked and graphical fire alarm systems
* Gas extinguishing systems (e.g., Argonite, CO₂, Inergen, Novec)
* Mechanical fire suppression equipment and fire extinguishers

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support engineers and subcontractors on site
* Deliver maintenance, servicing, and repair activities across fire detection and gas suppression systems
* Assist with estimating, integrity testing, commissioning, and client training
* Monitor subcontractor performance and manage site documentation
* Conduct safety and quality audits, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards
* Report near misses and H&S issues promptly
* Maintain daily work diaries and provide weekly updates
* Promote Johnson Controls’ culture of inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment
* Build strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Experience with gas suppression systems
* Mechanical fire suppression experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong people management abilities with experience supervising teams
* Proactive approach to unexpected situations and problem-solving
* Ability to inspire, influence, and build strong working relationships
* Previous supervisory experience
