This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to step into a technically strong, externally facing role with exposure to statutory and regulatory reporting within a dynamic environment.
You’ll join a collaborative finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders, auditors, and external advisers, gaining valuable experience across a growing group structure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with statutory financial reporting for individual entities and group consolidation under FRS 102 and IAS
* Support technical accounting projects, including researching accounting treatments and implementing reporting or process changes
* Contribute to year-end close activities, including journals, audit deliverables, and internal audit processes
* Assist with FCA regulatory returns
* Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
* Act as a key contributor to external audit workstreams
* Support ad-hoc finance and reporting projects as required
About You:
* Newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
* Strong academic background with relevant experience in financial services or audit
* Solid understanding of FRS 102 and IAS
* Confident communicator, able to liaise with auditors, advisers, and internal stakeholders
* Naturally inquisitive, detail-oriented, and keen to grow professionally
* Experience of NetSuite is advantageous but not essential
