Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Working Cleaner Supervisor to lead our early morning cleaning team. This hands-on role combines supervisory responsibilities with active cleaning duties, ensuring exceptional standards across all areas.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (5am - 1pm)
Location: Grain Power Station, Power Station Road, Isle of Grain Rochester ME3 0AR
(Please note this is a remote location with no public transport access—your own transport would be required. Free parking and subsidised on-site catering facilities are provided.)
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise the morning cleaning team
* Conduct quality checks and inspections
* Assign daily tasks and coordinate work schedules
* Perform cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
* Train new cleaning staff and provide ongoing guidance
* Monitor cleaning supply inventory and equipment maintenance
* Ensure health and safety compliance
* Report maintenance issues and incidents to management
* Complete daily/weekly cleaning reports
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years cleaning experience with supervisory background
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent organizational abilities
* Reliable early morning availability
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
* Ability to work independently and manage a team
* Physical fitness for cleaning and supervisory duties
